A2 is a Swedish furniture brand established in 2008 by the design studio A2 designers. After working with
different comissioned projects for some time we decided to launch our own furniture brand. It began as a dream of an own furniture collection with creative and unique objects genuinely produced near our studio. It was a crazy idea and we were even crazier to believe in it. After one year of preparations we finally launched the A2 furniture collection at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2009.
Almost five years later we have realised part of the dream and we now continue our work to surprise you with new A2 objects.
Our vision is to be a new, young and brave brand that dares to realise interesting and a bit different objects. We simply want to challenge the furniture world with new high quality products with a strong identity. The roots and history of our brand are important to us. A2 was started in the Swedish province of Småland, we design and produce everything in Småland and it’s here we belong. We are happy and proud of the genuine production at home in Småland. We cherish a genuine production with carefully chosen materials and all our products are, and will always be, produced by skilled craftsmen in Småland, Sweden. A2 is designed and managed by Sara Larsson in collaboration with her sister architect Anna Larsson, family and co-workers. The brand is owned by A2 designers AB. |
